I spoke with George Gardner at the Shoot For The Green match in Oklahoma a couple months ago. He was getting a 140 Hybrid to go 3120 fps in a 6.5 SAUM. I'm not sure how fast you can get a 130-140 gr going out of a 6.5CM. It'd be long enough that you might have problems in a semi. ..... 6.5 creedmoor is a solid round for a semi. I've thought about going full-R-Tard and seeing if a 6.5x47L will work in a semi. It might be too short, though.
Since my 300blk shoots everything very well I have a new bullet to try. Loaded a few to see how they do. Bought a K for cheap years ago. 108 gr frangible pulls. [Flower]Attachment 58378Attachment 58379
Stuck in a rut alert!
Loaded another case of 12ga.
Snooze.
Loaded 228 rounds of 9mm, used up the last of my Xtreme 124 flat points. Loaded up a small test ladder of the RMR 124 flat points. The cone portion of the bullet on the RMR is longer, so I loaded these longer, to almost round nose OAL. Ended up with the same amount of bullet seated into the case as with the 124 fp bullets.
Tested some new 10mm loads and found a new pet load. 155gn RNSWC with 8 gn of AA #7 seated @ 1.255. Very accurate, recoils like a 9mm and no failures to feed or eject. I think they will be great for IDPA.
100 rounds of 6X47L so I can finish the Sniper's Hide cup tomorrow and shoot Raton Next weekend.
Loaded up enough to go about a dozen times around the wheel in my .357 mag, and a work up batch for a new bullet for the evil black modern sporting rifles. Unfortunately, the data I was using for my range blaster rounds before just doesn't track with this bullet (same weight). Oh well.
300 black brass from 223. The rt1500 runs like a champ. They're in the tumbler now.
Loaded the last of my 140 Berger hybrids for my Creedmoor. 206 rounds total. Bitter sweet.
I tried out my new Dillon 1500 trimmer on my 650. Very cool and very fast. I've got it set up in a toolhead with a universal decapping die and the trimmer. Deprimed and trimmed 1000+ cases in no time at all. I'm starting to see how Hoser can do 1000's of pieces in a single day!
Did the same. Only I have the little brother 1200 on a 650 in a bolted short trim tool head. I use the Dillon decap/size die on the trim head and a universal in the tool head I use to assemble the loads.
My reloading equipment is probably the best money I have ever spent.
Could not sleep last night so I ended up processing 4,000 pcs of 9x19 brass for a friend.
Roll sized, FL resized, and swaged out the primer crimp.
Forgive the ignorance... What is 'roll sized'? I am used to the FL normal dies but this does not sound familiar.
Ya, just saw that after I posted. Never saw that way. What are the benefits past speed in you opinion?
I have my ideas/opinions, but I will wait for Hoser and/or others with more experience than myself to answer.
I'm familiar with the process, but don't do/am not set up for it.
I look forward to the input, myself.
It sizes all the way to the base to fix glock bulges. I don't do it either.
It returns the case back to 100% new specs.
If there is any dents or dings in the case rim it irons them out. There is no other way to fix rims.
If the case was fired in an over ramped chamber or really unsupported chamber it will fix that bulge as well. Resize dies can not get low enough to fix this issue.
Cleaned 8K pieces of 9mm brass, loaded 3K 9mm with 124HP Xtremes for match ammo. Loaded 100 6.5PCC.
200 rounds of 38 spl 148 grain LWC. Got a S&W M-14 to feed.
[LOL]just finished off another 200 of 158gr swc's > < This close to cleaning up the last 300. Looking at those Cheycast bullets, anyone use them.

Put the wraps on processing a few 5 gallon buckets of 223 brass for a friend. He should be set for a while.
Also put about 400 pcs of 243 in the tumbler. Gotta get ready to load more of them up as my supply dipped a little low unexpectedly.
Installed the auto-drive on my 1050 lol. Attachment 58970
I can only get it to work for an hour or two at a time. I'm pretty sure I don't need a 1099 or workmans comp just yet.
Today is my B-day so I am choosing to do Brass Prep tomorrow; gotta load 9mm for the Wife & more 45ACP for myself.
deprimed and SS tumbled 350 pieces of 6x47. Gotta get ready for Quiet Riot in 2 weeks
I've been loading 147s with a light load of WSF for matches, figured the light load for recoil, and heavier bullet for impact power, do you think the 124 and slightly heavier load would do better? I can knock down the droppers, but the dueling tree seems to like a bit more "oomph" to send the plate around.
For the same power factor, the lighter bullet faster delivers slightly more energy to the target face. I shoot about 130 pf with the 124s.
Loaded some 9mm, mounted a c-more on a Mark lll, mounted another on a Tac-Sol upper, disabled a slide lock on a pocket Glock, ...all while the wife mowed and weed eated.
I have been trying to deprime some IK head stamped brass, Yugoslavian ammo apparently. Primer hole is seriously small. Broke one pin and bent another on the Lee universal decapper. Lee said they'd send me a few replacements.
into the trash they go, don't trust them.
