Just listened to a car chase on the scanner that took place in Gippsland, Australia. The cops were chasing a kidnapper and car jacker.

I listened from about 915 until a couple minutes ago. Looks like it had gone on a long time as I did not hear about it until 3000 people were already listening on the scanner.

All turned out well, kidnapper caught, hostages safe, no major highway crashes during the chase.

Sounds like Australia needs to legislate a ban on motor vehicles. Seems to be a real public safety problem for them.
