I watched the initial briefing from Chief Oates the next day and he did say "tactical vest...tactical leggings" which I originally took to mean armored. But really tactical doesn't have much (if anything) to do with armor.Quote:

Even if he had an interceptor style military outfit it wouldn't stop a knock down or possible penatration from a 44 mag or 45 cal or 40 or 10mm.
And they have yet to produce a gas mask that is anywhere near bullet proof.
