Where does the term "workspace" come from? Which class teaches that?
The first time I heard it was on the Magpul Carbine video.
Same here.
I only ask because the only time I've heard it in real life was during an IDPA match when a guy kept getting "muzzle" called on him. He looked up at the RO and said, "Can't I manipulate however I want when I'm in my workspace?"

For the purposes they list, it does sound like a decent idea.
God knows I don't want to fight a crazy Irishman with a knife / magazine. I would consider it more manly if there was a blood groove and a compass with some fishing line in there somewhere.
