The Republicans stood up for our gun rights, spoke intelligently, and voted unanimously. The party is a coalition of people and you are not going to agree with everything because not everybody is going to agree; but on the stuff that really matters, they do what they should!

Please ask them to respectfully contact their Dem Senators and clue them in on the fact that these actions are in danger of alienating the moderate and mildly conservative registered Dems. The Dems won last election due to their energized base and
picking up independents. Lots of independents are gun owners, and many Dems as well, moreso these days with more people than ever being first time gun owners. Would be very shortsighted to lose the base due to this.

Agreed. Its about time you (Merl) and others looked beyond the end of your nose and realized that while I may not agree with everything a politician says, or everything a party does, it does not mean I should get pissy and throw a hissy fit. Stand together, or die alone.

This shit come with an agenda, they don't hear us, they just stay in the seat at the session al day to make a "show" but they don't hear us. I can bet that they plan to pass all remaining bills.

I'm feel so sad because I came here founding the best state and the best place to live and now this shit are pushing Colorado to the hole. In some years Colorado will be like the poor California and New York and have a number In the top five crappy states!

Right on I could not have said it better with your insight. The leftists are over estimating their base. It won't be there in 2014 and beyond.

I listened to the broadcast for most of the evening yesterday and it was pretty clear to me democrats would rather keep their toe to the party line instead of voting on bills for the best interest of the citizens they represent. Democrats didn't debate 1224 last night because they knew it was a bad bill in the first place (even being called out to come up and debate several times)

Yesterday showed me how easilly our political representation can be influenced from the outside.

Hopefully in 2014 when we have state elections those democrats who made party more important than what their citizens wanted will reflect in the ballot box.
