Cool beans. 150 ballistic tips in a 300 Weatherby mag might get you some explosive results on big game. Might be following an organ trail instead of just blood.

My thing here is that I'm not able to get consistent throws with the 7828 powder (it's cylindrical shaped, so it doesn't sit that well). I'm weighing every charge. For something like a 50 round batch it isn't that bad, but if I decide to load up some plinking ammo, that powder thrower better step up!
I also need to get a pocket swager, as almost all of my brass has a crimp.
With assistance from MAP installed this single stage today. NOW if i could locate that damn 223 case gauge. [Bang]

Finally got the reloading stuff setup after bringing it back with me from Idaho. 250 9mm, 100 gold dot .40, and almost 300 .45 acp. Not bad on a single stage rock chucker.
Loaded up 100rds of 9mm. Ran out of primed brass and didn't feel like priming any more today.
Attempted to load some 223 using my AutoDisk powder measure and a .45acp case. The 45acp holds 22gr of IMR4895 perfectly, but it was becoming too tedious. Might just have to buy the Lee Universal Rifle Charge die after all.
200 rounds of 230 RN 45 ACP.
Gave away some .38 which it seems has split cases and bulged brass mixed in with the good stuff [facepalm]Wonder how much more of what i "thought" was usable, is actually scrap.[Bang]
