Somewhat of a crazy thought, but has anyone ever tried using something like a howard leight ( http://www.amazon.com/Howard-Leight-...=howard+leight ) electronic earmuff on an airplane? Would it work better or worse than a pair of noise cancelling headphones? They have an aux in jack, so you could still listen to music or movies...
I have a pair of Westone in-ear monitors and listen to music on my iPhone. Even without music playing, these things use foam plugs to seal your ear canal 15dB. I could probably shoot outdoors with these in wothout music. Add music at a reasonable level and you can hear a person speaking standing next to you. Super high quality sound drivers and made in Colorado Springs to boot.Quote:
