Trying to decide what I should build next. Thinking a 20" A2 would be fun. Can't decide if I want the buttstock to be A2 or A1 though? I like the length of A1's but an A2 would be more correct for what was carried back in the day. I've been moving away from modern AR stuff and going more retro with everything. I find they are more fun to shoot for some reason. Can't beat the prices right now for adding to the collection.

I prefer the A1 stock. Not just the shorter LOP, but I always hated the meat hammer buttstock on the A2.

Yeah, those tended to get accidentally rubbed across the concrete multiple times. Coincendentally, it would tame the spikiness down.

A1 w/ triangle handguards and an upper with the optics carrying handle that has no brass deflcetor. if' you're gonna go retro... go for it!
