Both the 9 KMR and NSR are like one legged leprechauns right now. Might be easier to get a regular leprechaun and cut one leg off. Did see a shop in Tx selling NSR knockoffs for under 100. "Skull" something or other was the site. My Midwest measures9.25 total, upper receiver to end.

2. not keymod

I must have light weight and fanboi keymod for my range toys. I don't look the operator part, but my guns must.

They are like 8 or 9 oz! I guess Every ounce counts. Keymod would be cool. They have BS proprietary Rails at apex.

Well, yea. KMR is 6oz incl barrel nut. 6 vs 9 is +50%

I'm going to put a Form1 DIY can on one of these and would like to keep the total weight down.

I used a magpul basic railon my keymod. It's knowing how to make it work, rather then spend money unnecessarily.
