So couldn't decide between the G10 and the Translucent Blue. The blue was just to light (weight) for me. I get it for calorie counting backpacking, but I loved the weight and feel of the G10!!!

Got this in a convoluted purchase/trade arrangement. Kimber Classic Custom (pre-series II)...late 90s gun. 100% stock, great shooter, way accurate and 100% reliable after 200 rounds today. Well on it's way to becoming the new carry gun as soon as I install a set of nites:

ETA: It was 100% stock. I removed the 1-pc guide rod and replaced it with a GI setup like a real 1911 should have.
