how do you break a ladder by falling off of it?
I gotta say, I'm impressed by the local fireworks around here. (Anything that leaves the ground or explodes is illegal) It seems that nearly everyone has some fun artillery shells and the cops really don't care. Good view from my driveway.
I was standing on the top most platform and was leaning forward while holding the tire in front of me. The combined weight of me standing above regulation height, and me holding the tire, caused the ladder to tip over forward. I rode the top of the ladder down most of the way and just managed to hold my feet up at the last second to slide across the grass on the back. Meanwhile, the ladder hit the ground face first at top speed, and instead of the little aluminum arms folding up like normal, they just bent straight out to the sides as the ladder folded. So, it's not completely broken, it's just not really safe anymore. Good thing it is only a little one for indoors anyway.
Neato rope for the kiddo, Irving. I have all the used tires you'll ever need. Just ask.
How come you had to stand on ladder to hang tire swing?
Aren't most all swings knee to waist high?
