Actually the heels are used by women to develop their asses. I've never complained. I don't agree with the heels for the injury factor but they work for how they're intended. It's how they get those bubble butts when they're fit and trim... Laugh all you want but your SO doesn't look like that.
Lots of lifters will put weights under their heels... women just use what they know... high heels.
