I did notify Westminster PD of the incident and the Det. advised that she has been receiving many of these notifications but they are legitimate company who offers tissue for door prizes. I still agree with the members here that he was scoping out my place. Purely based on his actions.
Just got a ring at my bell. I looked out the door and saw a tall white girl (with a nose ring) with a thing of tissues in her hand. I held my hand up and waved her away and said, "No." I walked away, then came back to just to check and she was still standing there. I looked through the window and said, "Get off my porch." She was seriously surprised, frowned and walked back down the drive. The pewter Chevy Minivan was across the street and there were a bunch of other people walking down the street going door to door. I noticed that they didn't even go up the walk at my neighbor across the street who has a hand written "No solicitors" sign on his porch.
On a funny note, I had told my wife about this when the thread started. She was laying down trying to take a nap. I said, "It's those fucking tissue people I told you about." She SHOT up out of bed and ran to the front door to get a look at them; all worked up.
Good catch that they didn't go to your neighbors with the no solicitors sign. They are annoying! I loved your comment to your wife by the way. I'm still rolling. [ROFL2]
Got a visit from the tissue creeper about 15min ago. White, mid 20s, gauged ears with white inserts and looked to be missing a few teeth. Off 92nd and Colorado.

I have a "No Soliciting" sign on my screen door, it is very conspicuous and at eye level when you are walking up to my door.

The wife always get pissy, says there is no need to be rude. Excuse me? They are the ones that are rude and obviously can't read or ignore the sign. Fuck them.
In all this time I have only had one or two people apologize for missing the sign. Now if it is a kid pimping his football team or such I politely decline but if it is HS age or over, game on.
I hate these door to door slags.
yup-the park I live in has no soliciting posted at the entrance and they all seem to miss it. I told the tissue creeper it wasn't allowed and even told him I was calling security (which we don't have )
and they just continued on their quest. [pileoshit]
If they solicit in Aurora, they need to have an ID from the city, and on the application it says to abide by the no soliciting signs and that they need to wear the ID while conducting business. I am sure a complaint to the department of the city that issues these ID's/permits would get the permit revoked.Quote:
