It's not just the Gov't. It's the people writing the curriculum and the text books too. A few years ago my wife was tutoring a middle school student from a private school in NoVA (we lived in NoVA at the time). The student had a homework sheet and one of the items was to write a report on the rights 'granted' by the BoR.Quote:

BTW, there is actually good public support on red flag laws and a lot of confused gun owners who don't understand the negative consequences. Many gun owners think by decreasing mass shootings (LE has known about a lot of these cases) that it will actually protect our gun rights.
