There not even going to go hunting for scofflaws, but with the Red Flag law a lot of non-dangerous gun owners are about to have their guns seized and at that point they'll be charged for all the mags (so even after the red-flag period, they'll be felons so they can't get their guns back). Also we've all heard the stories of ATF agents showing up at gun ranges and hassling people over their NFA items (demanding to see stamps and such) ... well the State Patrol will be tasked with that here.

Any sort of grandfathering that requires you to get a permit from the state will eventually be turned into a confiscation scheme.


On a side note:
When we do get some kind of draconian gun laws, I'd like to see the owners of this site delete all the posts and start over fresh so as to not give the State a place to search and find what many of us have said in the past.

Oh and it's not "grandfathering" if it's registration.

I was also hinting that if the plan was to eliminate weaponry, they'll probably have to remove those of us with a similar mindset.

I would agree. TABOR stops almost all of their plans. If there is no tax money, they have to juggle money from one cause to fund another. And with so many promises of free everything, they need to come up with the money to make every free.

There might be some hope. Yes, an older article, but important info. I don't doubt that if he feels it won't affect his reelection much he would sign any ban.
