Congratulations on your buck.
One hunter in the group got a young cow Monday, hard pack in/out.
We kicked up 2 bulls Wed on the private land and dropped one on the run with a standing 275 yard shot.

nice shootin' brutal. At least it looks like the bull was an easy pack out, as in drive right up and load him kind of easy. I've only ever had one of those easy ones, and it was nice!
LOL. Was drug from one field to another and processed and packed out by pickup.

I had two tags this fall, both with the intention of being "trophies". That's always a self-imposed challenge.
Wound up passing on a couple young bucks and briefly saw one shooter but we were both on the move when I was walking in my second to last morning, before legal shooting light, and he got behind some trees and rock outcropping before I could get on him anyway. Never saw him again.
Then a late season (4th Rifle) Bull tag.... I saw 10 moose in the first 48 hours. 4 of them at once... Seems like they drove the Elk away. Only found a small herd (1 bull and his 11 cow harem) through binos at ~2 miles away, third ridge over from me... of course in the late afternoon. Next day we made a play, but nope. They were long gone.
Congratulations to everyone who was successful! Until Next Year [Beer]
