I was pissed to see this too. I liked Jax in Lafayette due to them having a little bit of everything, and I always got their $5 off coupons. What a bummer they jumped on the wagon
Had the same problem with the store in fort collins. Found them at jensens in loveland and always fair on their prices.
I used to like shopping at JAX back in the day. About the last 3 years it started to become more of a yuppie run, yuppie outdoor store. I will defintely not be doing any business with JAX in the future over this little stunt.
I bought the last AR-10 Jax in Lafayette had in stock (no price gouging on it). I'm torn as to whether I should be pissed or pleased about that. Regardless, that's the last time I'll purchase from them. It's a shame too because they were the only local place that I was able to find a lefty Remington 870 so I was kinda keen on the store. I guess I can say that at least I got what I wanted from them before they turned into a pussy outfit.
Wow, I didnt believe it as they are a major surplus dealer, but after seeing it first hand on their facebook, I believe it now. I'll be sure to tell everyone I know about those collaborators.
