After a bit of difficulty getting everything sorted, Big R in Thornton. All said and done, their lack of responsiveness delayed the deal by about a week.Quote:

Submitted about 4:30 Tuesday afternoon, cleared 12:30 Friday afternoon.
As of Thursday, when I left the shop, CBI was stating 3 days (give or take a few hours).

Folks are feeling a little more “settled down”... hopefully
So, about 140 checks/hr sounds right.
In order to go back to 15 minute queue, it should be about 35 waiting to be cleared.
How are these not instant? Put name and other stuff in computer. Computer compairs lists at light speed.
Only need for human review is on rejections.
The system should be setup for a private party to run the check without a ffl.
