Vitual Private Network. It uses point to point tunneling protocols to spoof an IP address in a different location and make it tougher for someone to watch what you're doing.
I use a service called StrongVPN. Whenever someone looks at my IP it shows up as a New York location. I run it anytime I'm overseas or in a public place.
Yup, this guy is smart. Perfect for protecting your info when in a public place. Sniffing wireless traffic is so easy these days its scary.Quote:
