4.7g-4.9g of Titegroup under a 125 JFN. I shot some cream puffs and didn't like them. I have to build some 158s and try those next.

After running the full hopper through it (like the directions state), I started setting up the "micrometer". Set it for roughly 22gr of IMR 4895 and when weighed, it was at 18gr. It was never used and got it for $30. Redding hasn't made any major design changes to their powder drops. I'm a believer in Redding.

Good Lawd please tell me you're shooting this at 1,200+. I can't imagine using 300 RUM as a target load unless you're pushing beyond the limits of more pleasant 30 calibers...

I picked up an old barely used Redding at a gun show a couple years ago for $20. I still weigh every powder charge, but it is within 0.1 as well. Sometimes the newest things aren't the best.

Thanks for the tips KS63 and encorehunter! I've looked into other brands and was leaning towards the Hornady LNL one, can be had for around $70, but then I hear that RCBS is better quality and its at $80-100. It would just be nice to not have to weigh 223 plinkers and know they are closer the 0.1gr difference than the 2+ gr difference I was getting with the Lee (even though those charges were still within specs, theres nothing that says it couldn't suddenly spit out one with 15gr and cause a squib or something).

Got a Lee classic cast press to dedicate to decapping. Mounted it up on a spare workmate I had around. I won't load any faster but it'll be cleaner!
