Up to issue #113 or so. Then it started to feel like he was just pumping out issues for $$$ rather than art's sake. Rather, there are some comics (Saga, Adam + Ada, etc) that I gladly shell out the $0.99-2.99 for and wish there were more I could buy, but walking dead comics started to feel like the writer's punched time-cards.

EDIT: As for show vs. comic, the show is pretty good for accomplishing what the comic does, with understandable content control. The comic gets downright graphic and doesn't really pull many punches. It would be too awkward/uncomfortable for half the TV audience that actively watches the show. And half of the other half that remained to watch would still be grossed out lol. Also, major characters in the comic get killed off with great regularity.

That is the same thing I heard. I disagree with starting the TV show so early... stuff gets so rushed, quality is out the window.

Yea I was a little upset about it. She was gaining a lot of confidence.

I watched an old episode from 2013. Saw a guy get his head hacked off with multiple swings and a female child get shot in the head. Too much gore for me that's actually happening in real life. Not my cup of tea, but I gave it a shot.
