+1 on Bimmer cup holders. The ones in the X5 I just traded on the Taco actually intersected. You couldn't put two cups in two cupholders. Amazing.

You know what? I'm racking my brain to confirm, but I believe I've only ever been inside a BMW a single time in my life. It was an E46 M3, and I was very drunk at the time, so couldn't get a full appreciation of the experience.
I don't think I've ever been inside a Mercedes Benz either.
What kind of sheltered life have I been living? I used to be a "car gùy" too.
I never wanted a BMW, but the price was right. Driving home from work this morning was only the second time I had ever driven one. The first time was during the test drive.
Nighty night.
Nice. For the price, I'd have picked it up too!
Here it is: Needs some clean up. Headlights are HID, but the headlight covers look like crap. Front bumper is torn and cracked in 2 places close to the ground (from running into a curb or parking barrier, i'm sure). Some minor dents and scrapes, and the interior is pretty beat up, but mechanically it all looks and runs great.

Because it was a luxury car back in it's day, it has all sorts of neat "luxury" features that mostly still work and it's pretty comfortable to drive/ride in. If I can get 4 years and another 80,000 miles out of it, I'll be very happy.
Flower wheels look nice.
Tell me about (broken) cupholders, and broken hazard relay switches, and broken turn signal stalk, and broken trunk release button, and broken sun visor clips, and broken window lockout button, and just about every other piece of hard plastic bits that fall apart on Euro luxo-sedans. I love driving my 2003 A6 (with replacement turbos and a rebuilt TC) but the maintenance on these things can kill you.
Only 88K miles and garaged 99.99% of the time.
Truly is a love/hate relationship.
I've brought this up before. My 2004.5 RAM sits outside 24x7 and doesn't fall apart.
