Touch up painting around the house before the cold and shitty weather starts. Always turns into a bigger shit show more than you intend.
Tearing down old walls for a multi-room remodel, which will eventually be the entire house. I HATE working on my house because I feel in over my head, but it needs to be done. We've lived here too long with not many improvements to show for it. Plus this time I'm hiring a contractor and just doing light weight stuff.
Emptying out the upstairs "office", getting ready to turn it into a leatherworking shop. Tired of doing it in the basement, which is already overloaded with reloaders, gunsafes and stuff. Going to go with hardwood floor, so have to get the upstairs spare bathroom and the "office" measured, and the rest of the house for new carpet. I HATE DOING THIS SHIT! Still, after 22 years in the house, it's time. Maynard The Wonder Cat has gone on to his great reward, and we're getting ready for my impending retirement...so while I'm still providing a paycheck, we need to spend the outrageous amount of cash needed to rebuild. Turns out...I've accumulated a LOT OF SHIT!!!
