What kind of car is this?

Thanks, I could see the "F-Type" and initially thought it was a Tesla, but I realized that I noticed that I could hear it, and I saw the tail pipes. After looking at the picture I thought I saw the Jaguar symbol, but it's hard to tell and I didn't notice it in person. Pic is zoomed in.
Very nice cars. Got to see one close up a few weeks ago.
Yeah, they're gorgeous!

For the same price (or less, if you want the F-Type R), I'd much rather have a Tesla Model S.
If you want a stick shift, an F-Type is only going to run you ~$65k, less than half a Tesla S.

I'd rather split the difference and get a C63 AMG, myself.

Nonsense. Tesla Model S starts at $68000, and you automatically get a $7500 federal rebate, along with a $5000 Colorado rebate. Add in the delivery and paperwork fees and you're sitting right at $60k. Same 0-60 time (5.5sec), lots of neat tech. Free supercharging, estimated gas savings of more than $1200 per year with my mileage.

Now, comparing a barebones F-Type R at $108k (0-60 in 3.9sec) to a Tesla Model S 100D, at $81k after rebates (0-60 in 4.2) is a little more interesting. F-Type definitely wins in top speed (Gas-burning cars will easily win at this for the foreseeable future), and the sound of a well-tuned exhaust is certainly something that turns me on, but the P100D can do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. That sounds painfully awesome. Both cars have lots of things going for them, but the F-Type does look like sex.
Now I'm looking at cars. Damn, cars are pretty neat these days. They are also wicked expensive.
