Getting priced out of shooting.

I agre wth PSS. Lead is the way to go. I get all the free wheel weights I want from work, or buy a bucket full at the scrap yard. Last time I calculated it all out not including labor, I was at $8 for 100 9mm rounds.

Titegroup. $20 per pound. 3 grains per case.
$80 for 20 pounds of lead~about 1000 rounds
$40 for 1000 primer
$20 for lube for 3000 bullets
At the time i calculated labor at $10 an hour, because thats what my job payed then

Here i am still shooting lead, lots of it, through a polygonal barrel, and never a problem.
I found out about an old timers trick for cleaning lead out of a barrel, takes 10 seconds.

Well heck, with tax added, the C&S price will be right close to $29 per pound. I am thinking of selling off some of my little supply which consists of 1F and if I do part with it by posting an ad, it will be about $100 for four cans. If no takers, it'll only go up in value.
