I would actually say "Let the consistent agreement with my opinion begin." Well put. Especially the underlined part.

He wants his weak side to have his kit so he can index properly with the support hand. Hater operator.
I wouldn't agree with that. I'd say the game is trying to appeal to 14-20 year olds who are trying desperately to rebel and be edgy. The kids that go on 4chan and use the N word and talk about rape because they think they're being subversive and different, that kind of crowd. I'd imagine that any kind of serious lunatic has long since graduated to animal harm or stalking or other real-life outlets. I can't imagine a psychopath being nearly stimulated enough by a video game.Quote:
I would almost suggest based on everyone's responses (on the first page only) that only those with mental condition would play such a game.
This.
Some people want to believe that only those with mental health issues would play such a game and, much like GTA and other such games, regular people play them too. Quite a bit on fact. Most enjoy the opportunity to act out in a video game what they sometimes could do in real life. It's cathartic to an extent since most (all?) can separate fantasy from reality. I sit back and laugh to myself reading this thread where people want to blame video games for violent actions of a mental defect and then in another thread that same person is willing to die for their 2nd amendment right because it's not the guns that make the violent actions. Oh the ironing.
I 'normal' and adjust individual can see play anything and when they hit the power button it's back to normal life. Someone with a mental health issue doesn't have that same disconnect and it doesn't matter if it's video games, rock music or nothing at all... attempting to apply normal reason and logic to these individuals or actions may make you feel better but is no more accurate than saying these types of video games... or firearm ownership... causes them.
Playing a violent video game often enough turns killing into a conditioned reflex... rewarding you for that creates the connection that killing = good. This is shown in brain scans of kids playing video games. Not everybody that plays violent video games, or watches violence on the tv/movie screen for that matter, will go out and shoot up a school. But you add a mentally disabled kid, or a kid who is emotionally or mentally unstable, to the mix and it opens up the pathway for violent action.
I could find a lot more if I spend time on it, but a 30 second Google search will give you this:
