FIFY... The whole thing smells to me. This doesn't seem like the work of such a well-organized & well-trained group to me. The CIA should ask for their $$ back! [Coffee]
Did anyone hear Donald Trump remark on this? "I support free speech, but..." there are no buts when it comes to freedom, you have it or you don't. Lawd I hope Mr. Toupee doesn't run next year. Oh, and my crush on Martha McCallum from FNC has taken a hit after her interview with Ms. Gellar.
And there's this:

Yup, and OReilly was just as bad. At least Megan Kelly stood her ground on this. Hate speech is a very slippery slope, and thats where the left is going on this incident - muslims become a protected class that needs the big hammer of .gov to protect them from the islamophobic, racist bigots. Oh, whats that you're saying? Muslims aren't a race? Well then - lets just change the meaning of racism to include aniti-muslim!
OReilly and others support some sort of anti-free speech here since they say Geller and the others "knew what was going to happen beforehand" and "what if a little kid was there and was killed by the gunfire?". In other words, you know this will bring out violence, so your form of free speech is unacceptable in the name of public safety. Using that logic, I guess to have the same legal protection, Christians and Jews need to start shooting people when there is the next art exhibit with the cross in a jar of urine.
God help us...
It really feels like we're living in Bizarro World these days, doesn't it?
I thought this whole freedom of assembly and free speech issue was already addressed by the US Supreme Court:

The First Amendment is not necessary to protect speech which is popular. It is their to insure government does not prohibit or deny the right to express the unpopular. A concept like "Hate Speech" is a good example of what any government may not prohibit without risking violating the First Amendment.
