Elk tags came the other day.
My deer tag came a week or so ago, 1st rifle, 10/29 - 11/08, GMU105.
I just noticed, my tag clearly states on it in two places, "Units #105 #106". Does that mean it's good in both of those Units? I only applied for 105.
Yes. I hunt in Unit 58, but depending on species, I think I have up to fit units to choose from depending on the species and season.
Yes. My archery tag also combines units #104, 105, and 106.Quote:

Awesome! I didn't know they did that! According to their "hunting atlas" maps, 106 looks to have lots more mulies than 105. Road trip!
In case anyone was wondering, statistics are out. Due to the frustrations in the draw last year, the actual quotas, applicant numbers and the actual awarded tags.

Did get my tag in the mail yesterday...
Got my application for a permit to hunt the Jumping Cow SWA in 105. App proudly announced the addition of 3000 acres to the north, called the Woodard area, in addition to areas A, B, and C.
So I drove there to check it out, and ended up at the Woodard ranch house. Talked to Mr. Frank Woodard hisself, owner of the property. Showed him my CPW map and asked if I was at the right place, and he said yes, that's my property, but it's not part of the Jumping Cow SWA!
Hmmm, well now, really? The CPW is taking applications for people to hunt on your land, and you don't know about it??? Interesting.
So I had to visit the CPW office for a WTF session, they're "going to look into it." Sounds kinda sketchy to me. But I applied anyway. Guess we'll see.
