If either Graves or foxtrot aren't interested, I'll get in line for one of those cards!
Xbox One player here. I play mostly FPS like CoD (even though it's gone to shit the last few releases) BF and Halo. I do like 3rd person games when I play solo like Assassin's Creed and enjoy a good GoW game or two with friends. My latest time dump was The Division. I anticipated this game for years after I saw the first glimpse at an E3 I think like 4 years ago. They kind of broke it after release (The Dark Zone was incredibly exciting when the game was first released and they made it almost unplayable and the constant grind just for gear gets monotonous) and I haven't played it in a couple of months even though I have a season pass. Kind of looking to get back into it but just haven't had the time lately. Other then when I first started playing the game the most fun I had with the game was when I started a 2nd Agent from scratch. The excitement of seeing a blue item drop and then a purple item drop after hours of grinding and actually getting upgrades on gear regularly reminded me what the game could be. If anyone has The Division and feels like starting a new Agent (or just got it and is starting fresh) and teaming up, let me know. Maybe we can get a small group of people to work on stuff again.
Man, I had such high hopes for The Division. It was a decent story, but the game sucked once you reached the end game. And on PC, hackers took over the dark zone immediately after launch, making it a no mans land in reality as well as lore.
The DZ was fubar from the troll miners on consoles too. Still a very good game though.
I can't stand the grinding. Was the same thing with Destiny. Currently playing Titanfall 2 which is a lot better than the first release, especially multiplayer. Halo seems to be the only FPS that doesn't require you to grind things out just to be competitive in multiplayer.
I've got TitanFall 2 as well but haven't yet opened it.
In related news, anyone see that you can play the full version of Battlefield 1 this weekend on Xbox One or PC for free? I installed it on my Xbox One and I'm going to play it here in a little while.
BF1 is not as much fun as BF3, in my opinion, but it's still damn good!
I've been much more of a threat in games since I removed the scope from the bolt action sniper rifle I use, and just go into battle with that.
BF1 is also free today and tomorrow. ;-)
I have codes for the full version but never redeemed one. I'm going to use this opportunity to see if I like it enough to redeem one and play it more. I'm usually not a fan of vintage era war games (prefer modern warfare type stuff) and the BF series has been hit or miss for me so I was never compelled to install it. But for free.. well, why not?
