So we have been getting update from presidents team/admin for couple weeks.
Just think if Joe Biden had been leading them.
"Back in the late 70's, the last time the Budweiser disease was going about, well I think it was the ambassador of Taiwan, or the 'Lilipines that commen..., that said...., that said, she said I had gorgeous sweat, and then they liked to lick the salt off my arms for the salt, for the sweat, because they needed more minerals, which is why I was there, to get them minerals, to get us minerals, something about minerals, but he got some hair on his tongue, and he was like "puuuh puuuuuh puuuuuh" and I saved his life by performing the Himmler Maneuver. "
I see that the government is about to give Boeing $60 Billion in taxpayer dollars. That is great but they need to put a stipulation in there that says all foreign Boeing employees must be laid off before the 1st American worker is let go.
If they don't, I know exactly how this is going to go down and that tax money will end up saving an probably creating more jobs in Poland and India than here in the US. Hell, they will use it as an excuse to outsource more than they have been!
Anyone know if there is some wording in this bill that all foreigners must be kaid off before the first American is?
Do you have a link to what you are talking about so we can follow your train of thought?

Boeing has been outsourcing for years and this is what led to the MAX problem and is leading to other problems. Unless there is language to lay off foreign workers first, the US taxpayer is about to fund a bunch of foreign jobs and watch their neighbors draw unemployment all for $60 Billion.
No bailouts.
Every payment to a corporation should require and equal equity share in that company that the US government has the right to sell at anytime on the open market. Said company does not get the right to purchase back the shares outside of the free market.
I've been in commercial/ defense/ industrial contracting for 30ish years. Last week my boss about lost his shit over the potential of a shelter in place order. Today he called the office staff together and said it was business as usual for the foreseeable future. Construction is being considered essential at this time. Everything about my job could be done at home, with my work computer, but thankfully we are a very small office staff and can maintain our social distancing... now if only I could get away with wearing headphones so I don't have to listen to all the BS!
Just a thought: If anyone thinks the .gov is going to restore all of the rights they are infringing upon right now, 2 words: Patriot Act.
