The coldest I have seen at the family homestead west of Boulder was -27 in the '89/'90 timeframe. It's -9 here now.

The temperature war in my house has been so intense this weekend that now the thermostat is telling me it's low on battery.

Wow, got up and looked at the temp display - a low of "-18" last night....I had left the work area heater on Sunday and it was running full out over night it has only managed to keep the room the basement to 69 degrees.
At least the heater is next to my work bench, and it is much warmer there.
I closed off the work room and it should bump the heat up a few more degrees.
