It's time I learned how to fish.

Nice! Where was it?

There is a tiny little pond behind Water World that is catch and release only. I guess there are Bass, Bluegill, and Crappy in there. Oh yeah, and a family of Beavers or Otters or something.

I'm going fishing right now, gonna go to Cherry Creek and try night fishing!

That sounds fun. Bring a flashlight that focuses into a spot light. If you catch something, let me know what you caught and how you caught it please.

Ok, just got back from cherry Creek. It was a fun experience! Caught 9 walleyes, the biggest was 12" and the smallest was 9.5. All fish were released.
I used night crawlers and leeches. "still fishing".

Tonight I caught 3 more Large Mouth Bass and a Bluegill (I thought it was a Crappie). I only have pictures of two of the fish, but the first large mouth was an inch or two longer than the one last night. Also, I think I broke my reel last night, because it doesn't click anymore when the line runs out.

So we went again tonight, and some stupid teenage girl catches at least a 1lb Crappie. I know because my daughter found it LYING IN THE DIRT, still with the bait in its mouth, with the bobber 24" up, and just the line cut off. I know it was that girl, because she told me that she caught "some green and gold fish" and when we found it about 20 minutes later, IT WAS STILL ALIVE! I confronted her about it later, and she said, "Oh, that wasn't my fish."

What the hell is wrong with people? All the trash that people leave around is one thing, but reeling in a fish, cutting your line, leaving it in the dirt, and just walking off? I don't understand. No wonder people hate baiters and spin casters.
