Funny guy. Not quite...but it was long enough ago that I was there several years before we "transitioned" to semi-auto pistols.

Good on you Ronin, I hope they choose you and you make it through the academy with honors. Before you go though, make sure you are in top shape. Nothing worse than cold turkey workouts one on top of the other if your body is not ready for it. Oh basic sucked that way...

Yeah. Thank you! I've been running a lot lately trying to get my endurance up- I'm gonna need it! One of my buddies said "You better be in good shape- Lookout Mountain is a bitch!" And he said it with a very villainous grin.
ETA: Welcome back Nynco, we thought you fell off the face of the earth or something (at least I did)... or Gitmo? [LOL]

Hopefully the test won't involve much history. Or logarithms.
