My thought was that he seemed more timid than Romney and did not put nearly as many numbers out there but that was just me. [Flower]

As a conservative, I am dismayed by the direction that the Republican party is heading in.
You should NEVER compromise your ideals.
I think the real winner tonight is Sniper7.
He's about a madmofo typin sumbitch[Beer]
so...like in the political discussions, please tell me the other options?
I can either vote for Obama or for Romney. voting for Johnson is a waste of time.
Voting for Obama is continuing the last 4 years, handing SCOTUS to the liberals on a silver platter, and now he mentions he wants to put in another AWB. while I believe the house will fight this off, I can see, given the economy, an amendment being added to a bill to re-enact at least a portion of it, possibly permanent.
I can also write myself it, but unless I see about 150,000,000 people doing the same, I'm not going to win, therefore my vote would be wasted, it quite possibly would only help Obama.
Do you really think trickle up economics is going to work. do you think obama taking money from high income earners is really going to put more money in your pocket? do you think that those same people, who are mostly businesses owners or those who run business, will not make up that money...inflation, increasing prices, which YOU will have to pay if you want their products. do you really think the .gov has your best interests in mind?
Since Johnson has NO CHANCE at winning, there is no point in bringing up his policies or ideas.
So you are left with a successful businessman, who has created jobs, made millions, donated millions, and has a plan, yet to be fully laid out, will not be proven unless things work out. He balanced the budget for businesses he ran, the state of MA, Olympics. He has the experience
So there really is no choice. We have seen what 4 years of obama has brought. has your life improved, are you putting more money into savings? are you cutting back or able to spend more? have you had to sell off guns to pay bills...I know I have seen some for sale...I know I have sold some to take care of things...like the birth of my son. Who only 3 years ago under my insurance would have been free...yet now it was over $1000.
I don't think either of them put many numbers or measurable facts out there tonight. Lots of anecdotal stories from Shitsville, OH. Romney saying again and again "Obama can't do that, but I can!" without ever actually explaining how.
The way they kept interrupting each other and walking all over the allotted time was a real turn off, as well.
Next debate should have them seated in plexiglass boxes and the moderator can cut off the mic when their 2 minutes is up.

If everyone who swore that johnson is just a waste of time would vote for him, it wouldn't be a waste of time.
^^^ meh.. i wanna see him doing it while in flight. [Tooth]
If you are a fucking idiot and your head has been up your ass for the last four years, then maybe Obamalamafuckup won this debate.
If you have half a brain and you want this country to survive, you heard the truth.
I agree that another 4 years of Obama will, at the very best, stagnate our country.
But I feel the other option is a guy who made his millions by buying out companies and selling off their assets. A guy who also said that military style weapons don't belong in the hands of the citizenry, and was seen as a likable enough guy to lead a very liberal state. He has a plan, but refuses to tell us what it is. It's the same thing we were calling Obama out for back in 2008.
Fact is, the military can definitely afford some spending cuts. As can many other government agencies. And that the American people need to be willing to do more to help their country out. We ARE going the way of Greece. We are demanding that our government do more and more and tax us less and less. I think a simplified tax law could go a long way to take care of that.
OK! I have to through this out again! Am I the onlyone that picked up on this 4 years ago??
Add 3 letters to the Obama/Biden campaign. 3 simple letters! N L A.
Obama BINLADEN!!

So who's here as gun owners support Obama's call for reintroduction of Assault Weapon Ban?

Voting for Johnson is just taking a vote from Romney...
Remember Ross Perot?
He got 19M votes, almost 19% of all votes cast... GHWB got 39M or 37.5% and lost by just under 6M votes -
Clinton would be a footnote in history if the Republicans that voted for Perot would have voted GHWB...
I'm just sayin'
Dude just slipped in a BULLSHIT on the Frank Luntz focus group on live TV!
Way to go old man!
Context my friend... he also said that those automatic weapons are already illegal and he is against new legislation. Obama on the other hand was pretty clear.
So do you support Obama's stance? I know in the past you have championed Obama as not only not against guns, but he is pro (as in passing few bills that are pro).
We in Colorado are a battleground state. Johnson has no chance of taking Colorado nor ANY electoral votes from oblowme.
Romeny is the only candidate with the ability to get oblowme out of office.
Thus a vote in Colorado for johnson is a vote for oblowme.
The primaries is when you vote your consience.
The Presidential election is when you vote for what is best for this country.
A vote for Johnson from a conservative or a libertarian is indeed a vote for oblowme, however many of the CO Johnson voters are liberals who are pro-pot ... so actually for many of them a vote for Johnson is a vote for Romney.
The question is "Who would you vote for if Gary Johnson were abducted by space aliens and taken to their world?" If the answer is "well, then I'd vote for Romney" then yes, your Johnson vote is a vote for Obama. However if you would never vote for Romney then I'd rather see you voting for Johnson than the other dick.
ok, how many dicks in total are we talking about???
How many folks here attended their local caucus?
I did, there were less than 30 folks there... I was selected as a delegate too...
We cast our vote for Santorum.
