Thanks, Ridge....I appreciate it. Watching an elderly person fail in the hospital, and it's effects on the family, is a tough thing to watch and be part of. Especially when you care about the person having the problem....and the family dealing with the situation.
Everyone has hope for the best outcome, sensibility for the reality of the situation, and feelings are a bitch sometimes.
The best you can do it tell them and show them that they are loved, and hope they pull through.

Going through a refi and some shit pops up on the disclosure docs about a small $248 tax debt owed for 2016. Expected due to the way I pay, but no notice of course. Of course, having the disclosure docs also means I'm days away from closing - actually have an appt scheduled Wed Morning.
So I get online to take care of it, and find that there's also an outstanding amount for 2014. WTF?
It's small potatoes ($636 for all of it), but not being notified, and getting tagged for interest on the 2014 one really pisses me off.
And how is it that CBC Innovis didn't tell me about this before (like 4 days ago when I was on a call to verify an early Jan payment and payoff amount) and didn't find the 2014 stuff?
IRS also pulled some shit on me in 2015 with a 3RD DEMAND LETTER - NOTICE OF INTENT TO LIEN, when, in fact, I had never received any prior notice.

It certainly is. I also think it would be safe to add that even when all parties involved *are* blood related, there can still be the same misinterpretation window. Being respectful, considerate and humble with understanding, can go a long way in any situation like this.Quote:
