Couldn't sleep so I loaded up a couple thousand 9mm, loaded with Eggleston 115s and Titegroup for my PCC.
Then loaded about 100 rounds of 223 Ackley for my mid range bolt gun.

Couldn't sleep so I loaded up a couple thousand 9mm, loaded with Eggleston 115s and Titegroup for my PCC.
Then loaded about 100 rounds of 223 Ackley for my mid range bolt gun.
Around 4.3 gns of Titegroup loaded to 1.140.
For PCC 115s are really nice. In a handgun I think they suck. I like 124-130s in a semi auto and 165s in a revo.
Some guys like how soft 147s are in a handgun. I like how quiet they are when suppressed, but the rest of the time 124s work just fine.
I also use 124 gr (flat point) with about 4.3 of Titegroup.
I've got a bunch of 147gr round nose projectiles that I want to load with Unique. I'm seeing lots of different loads pop up on forums and blogs here and there when I search. Since you mentioned using Unique I figured you might have some load data I can rely on.
Think I'm going to start with 4.2gn of Unique and an OAL of 1.140
FMJ's some old inventory i found from (this is how old) Montana Gold. Think it's part of a few thousand i picked up when they had a sale, maybe 10 yrs ago.

It's interesting how many loads for subs (under 1050) that have been published in the last year or so, with the availability of suppressors almost everywhere.
Did you switch to Unique from TG because you had it on hand, or other reasons? I think you and I have discussed this in the past, but I can't remember. I ask because I have a lot more TG than Unique, but I do have a pile of 124 jacketed to use. fmj and jhp
Because i have a few K of the 124's and seeing some feed back elsewhere for subs, with Unique, i figured why not. I have a few kegs of TG and many 147's sitting here. Throw in the 650 and one can get a lot done in a reasonable time frame ;).
I like TG for my 1911's but go with Unique for the Mauser in 45 acp. That action can handle high pressure rifle rounds, hot loaded 45 isn't a problem.
Any of you guys tried Alliant Sport Pistol powder? I hear that it’s a superb, clean burning powder that is similar to VV 310/320 for less $$. Haven’t found any locally and only want to try a LB to possibly replace my Titegroup.
Did a quick clean of the reloading room today. It had been while since I emptied my spent primer bins on my 1050s.
Below is an almost full 5 gallon bucket of spent primers. One heavy bitch.

Got the Aztec function up and running on my AMP Annealer. Pretty cool. No more sending brass away to have the factory figure out settings.
Spent a few hours this week reloading 223. Took one 5 gallon bucket of brass and turned it into ammo. Killed more than a couple 8lb jugs of Varget and most of a case of Hornady 55s.
Somewhere around 4,500 rounds.
I hope to not have to reload 223 for a long time to come. And now that I have done it, I hope to never decide to do something as stupid as deciding to do that again. Just because I have a bucket of processed brass doesn't mean I have to do something with it. It was just fine testing gravity.
Picked up 8lbs of H4350 for the 260
Did 200 rounds of 9mm the other night.
More 44 magnums loaded up for the weekend

BobChute was delivered today. I think I will drill out the cap on a cold coffee bottle for it. They have a more stable base than a soda bottle.
Does Koscove also sell? I’m looking to pick up some pure soft lead to mix with wheel weights. If I am selling off brass and aluminum for scrap it would be nice to plow the money back into lead
Pulled apart one of my 1050s and changed it over to load 308 and loaded a few hundred rounds. Throwing about 47 gns of Benchmark under a 125 TNT. Fun gas gun load, but I hate loading 308 compared to 223.
I thought I had a 308 FL carbide die, but it was a carbide trim die I had ordered. Guess I will be calling Dillon.
I’ve had the tumblers working OT and have buckets of 556, 40, 9, and 380 clean to load over the winter.
Cleaned up all the Glock GSSF stuff for the season, ever clean a 100+ mags in a day?
May swap the 1050 over to 40 today and decide what ratio to load stock and STI length.

Picture for partial cleaning pile.
Did you put them all in the dishwasher?
Reloaded another 1000 308 tracers for Big Sandy
Cleaned and sorted a pretzel barrel full of brass.
Setup the BobChute to drop into a Starbucks iced coffee bottle strapped to the bench leg.
Setup the 550 for 45 Colt for the first time.
All I used to do was black powder 250 grain PRS Big Lubes. I'm going to try some smokeless this time to use at the indoor range. Right now I have some plated 250gr Missouri Bullet Company Cowboy #1's I got in trade. I also got a bunch of powders in trade, and it looks like I have Accurate #5, Hodgdon Universal and Winchester 231 that show loadings. I also have some HP-38 I was using for .380 that I could load. I also have a box of Lasercast 250 gr to try at some point.
I figure I'll load up 12 of each and see how they feel. I'm open to suggestions too.
Finally ran out of loaded 243 ammo.
Tumbled about 950 cases and ran them all through my Giraud trimmer. Next step is to anneal them and then load them.
Assembled both of my new-to-me 1050's and got an email about my "Hornady Get Loaded" submission. 12-16 weeks from now to get my 100 free bullets... LOL. I guess they are "free"...
This weekend I am going to get both 1050's mounted and see if I can get it all organized again...
Two 1050s?
I like where your heads at.
