Morning. Day 2 of staycation. Enjoying the 1st cup of joe and my dogs company. House needs the sprinklers turned on and other scaping. Might go to the mountains if it gets too hot.

I've got a handful of chores planned for me tomorrow.

Been busting azz yesterday and today to make progress on my projects. Only chores tomorrow is a little farming(cultivate for late squash) early in morning.

Gotta pick up poop from, and then mow the back yard

Cool Lobo, I'll still get up at O dark thirty like normal and get moving on stuff.

Been a while since I polished up the bambalance so I'll give it some lovin….and a few other things. Cleaning out the gutters again is one of 'em.

Did a little mowing in the green belt behind the house here yesterday.

Then the fun stuff.

15 lbs assorted pork ribs in the new smoker.

Dirt bikes with the minions.

1st Annual Minion Rimfire Shootout(our home made 5 stage family relay match)

Family dinner(above mentioned BBQ ribs, burgers/dogs grilled corn on cob, baked potato and whatever rest of family brings)

Home made ice cream and stories told by honored family and friends.

sigh. The La Plata county fire just got contained and now a new one in San Miguel County near Horse Park, CO has sprung up.

Holy crap. Cut down (and then cut up) two trees. I was amazed at how fatigued I was. Had to stop a couple times to catch my breath. Getting too damn old. Time to work on cardio.

Also, hadn’t used my chainsaw since I loaned it to a friend. I learned why my dad always said to never loan a chainsaw to a man who didn’t own a chainsaw. Didn’t make sense before. Now it does.
