Maybe you could be stubborn about your willingness to adapt and listen and change if it's the right thing for the situation. Then you don't have to fight your nature of being stubborn.
Perhaps evaluate the emotion causing your "stubbornness" ….., and then logically assess the reason why your mind is allowing it to happen.
Then ask yourself "Is it worth it?". Many times it's just better to let stuff go when it honestly doesn't really matter...just a thought on it.
I'm stubborn about everything but mostly the dentist. Needed to head in late last Friday but refuse to pay bs after hours / weekend rates. Pain hits in waves up to about 6 so I'm holding out till tomorrow.
Obc that's some pretty insightful thoughts[Beer]
I hate going to the dentist my friend. Have since I was a kid and it will never get better, but I do know that the lady doing my work is top notch and the hygienists are also top notch.
I had a cavity filling drilled out and replaced about a month ago, and I seriously lock up and hold my breath waiting for the pain while the drill is in the tooth, or the crown process is underway...but they do shit right. Seems I'd rather get into a car wreck than sit in that chair.
If you'd like some contact info for some very caring and professional dental folks, I'd be happy to help.
I can't believe the shit I'm going through these last few months with houses and such.....and all the crap associated with the processes involved.
Ten years ago I don't think I had the patience to even come close to dealing with the stress and bullshit going on lately. Which kinda brings it back to the stubborn aspect, and that I really did have to change how I thought about stuff in order to manage things that are happening that I don't like, but are necessary to happen.
I don't know if that helps, and thank you for your positive vibes about my earlier comment.
Happy Independence Day, fellers.
Sounds like a few people in here could use some Jordan Petersons in their lives.
Hey Irving.... how 'bout yourself?
Occasional introspect can be a good thing from time to time, doesn't mean anything bad.
