Man, we need a "like" button!! Great pups everyone.
Slimmed down version. The princess plumped up over the holidays last winter and had to go on a diet(monthly weigh in at the vet and all). We got her down to 120-122lbs from 138-140 and she has been holding steady for 2 months now.

^^ That's great! She'll be much healthier now. I have a Corgi that needs to go on the fat boy program. I seriously don't know how he gains weight. I feed him EXACTLY the same amount as I feed the other boy. Gus is 38 pounds and Scout is 28 pounds...all his blood work is normal, everything's normal. Maybe he's like Cartman...just big boned. :)
The little man had a vet appointment for a lump that had grown on his hip. I could tell it was painful for him. I was worried about cancer because Goldens are prone to it?
The night before his vet appointment my wife told me I needed to check on the dog?s hip because it was red. Sheesh. Yea, blood red. So much for the scheduled vet appointment. Now we need the emergency vet.

It turns out that he had an abscess. It was probably from a puncture wound during hunting season or running in the cattails this spring. This is him right after the emergency vet visit.

Ouch. Good to see he's healing up!
Had to take our pupper to the vet this week for a dental checkup and deep cleaning. He's been the biggest baby ever since he came out of the anesthesia. I can understand since a dog explores the world with their mouth and their power and defense is delivered through their jaws. He's doing much better now, but GSDs can be such drama queens.
"He's doing much better now, but GSDs can be such drama queens."
Drama queens is an understatement. Especially if spoiled already.
Reba was sleeping in the garden while we were planting/working yesterday. Mail man drives down the road to the house to drop off package too large for the box. I met him at yard gate put packages in yard, shook hands with mailman, he got in van closed door and dog woke up as he drove away.
Damn dog spent next 20 mins patrolling yard barking. Had to get on her case to knock it off.
I think she was "embarrassed" she got caught sleeping on the job.
Lilly is a little too enthusiastic about the patrol/bark thing. She's doing her job....but, dayum sometimes.

Made quick friends with the office cat at our vets office. If you figure out chin scratch is his favorite he jumps onto your shoulder for a nap.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...518c25f0eb.jpg
