One should also keep a thermocoupler in stock for the water heater . Or furnace if it's an older gas unit.

I finally found a photo editor that doesnt suck. (Say 'doesn't suck' in your best Sean Connery voice). This is my test post. Those fun Mad Maxesque cars I saw in Old Brighton a while back.
Now, where did I put that kayak....
Irving Goes to Florida (An Ernest Enterprises production).
There we go. I was actually counting on CalSct to pick up the slack, well done. Haven't left yet though.
RE: those cars. I don't know where you get the idea of Mad Max. If you had just posted those pictures without any context, I would have said, "Looks like someone drove through Old Brighton, Thornton, Golden, Commerce City, Byers, etc."
Now that you mention it, Irving does look like Ernest P. Worrell...........

Only merely half joshing. Nice car pics.
I was going to post about my grandfather, believe it or not. I feel like half of the tools I use now when I fix things came from his garage. Even yesterday when my forced observer (wife) knocked stuff down the sink drain, I grabbed a flexible grabber thing, put a magnet on the and let her go to town. The taps of course came from him as well.
I'll have to find that thread for Rebekah, I'm sure she would have enjoyed that shop.
