Okay, so yesterday was Olive Branch, MS to Thornton. 1,093 miles and three stops for gas. I did drop by my employers somewhere in Missouri and ask to meet everyone. Glad that's over. Now I've got to finish up a thing or two, pay off all my debt, and pick up three suppressors while I can.

Same route. I got some work in Olive Branch since it was on the way, so that kind of locked my route in. Honestly, I was pretty tired and ready to go home, so I didn't plan any detours. Also, I still have an OTC cow tag for next week that I'd like to at least attempt, so getting home fast was a priority. Not to mention I missed my kid and wife and pets and stuff.
A few hours from home and they reported that since the coop door was broken, one of the chickens never made it into the coop last night. Everyone was upset about it (sister hen to the one that died right after I left). This morning I saw her walking across the front yard. No idea where she hid last night, but she pulled through the night just fine. Now maybe the wife will understand that 20 degrees at night ain't no thing for these chickens and she'll stop trying to insulate the coop.
