Leave one of the non bedroom curtains or shade open overnight. The sun starts breaking through and you'll be awake.

This time of year, I would be at work before the sun peeks over the horizon or just as it breaks the horizon.

At least you would know when you are really really late... and if you're late you might as well get donuts and burritos
