Doing some research on higher end shock dynamics, I've definitely learned some things I didn't know about. The shocks I want are really good, but now I also know more about how and why that stuff does what it can when the proper springs give it the chance to do what it's capable of. Neighbor down the road came home the other night around 10:30. He said as they turned the corner (about 900' from here) there sat a mountain lion in the middle of the street. Hanging out , seeing what Christmas displays he liked.
Explains why the dogs went ballistic the other night, charging the fence line. If the skunk population dwindles some, i might leave a beef bone or 2 in the easement for him.
