110 VAC can kill you just as dead as “Ole Smokey” in San Quentin could. Never take electricity for granted.
It is the current that will kill you, it only takes .16 A going across the right part of your body, and it is lights out.

I knew a guy years ago that would actually stand there holding hot wires and look at ya like...."what's the problem?".

Voltage is not near as damaging as amperage.
