Kinda looks like one I bought that was recovered weeks after being thrown out of a car window during a chase down a country road. Nah, gunbroker. You're right about the grips, the ones on there were "hip grips", judging by the wear on the steel parts vs the aluminum I think this is more sweat or storage in leather, there aren't any abrasions that indicate it being roughed up beyond neglect.
