On a different note, I get to go back to work for CDOT tomorrow, in a different job and Dept.
I will be in the headquarters building, under building maintenance, I will be a glorified Janitor.....
I went out and got a couple of new tattoos to celebrate the occasion....... What do you think ?

Yea I sure hope those are Tier1
And congrats on being a glorified janitor. At least they found something for you.
Remember when you sweep, don't forget the corners.
I'm not a wood guy, built some stuff here and there sure....but this was the first time I bought wood baseboard that needed painting. Looked good to go, but after one or two pieces you learn very quickly that if you're not prepping them as though a body shop was prepping to shoot a fender, it's gonna look like shit. IMO.
I ended up sanding the hell out of every piece and wiping down with a micro fiber cloth before first coat. Got the shit done, but there was a learning curve as well figuring out how to cut the stuff for a compromised floor out of level. Spacing stuff up from 90 and mitered at the same time. I figure I did good keeping the waste to a minimum having one full stick left over based off of initial measurements and buying extra just in case.
Painting the smaller pieces is a pain in the ass....stuff came out okay though.
Palms?...I would have thought more like Fumunda….cheesedick.
Did you paint all the pieces before you installed them?
