Ya'll probably know I hurt physically in a few different ways, …GF got me some "house slippers" to wear when I'm at home.

Turns out it's better than wearing shoes for sure. Yeah, I look like a fag wearing them, but it's more comfortable...yay. Since no one will ever see me wearing them, I have the man card confidence of describing said effeminate effect.

Going to the Good Feet store tomorrow and try to help the work week pain for the feet anyways. I went there ten years ago and hated what they offered, but if they can fix my discomfort, I don't care if it's a grand out the door.

Irving, does that mean the healing and stuff is all gonna be good for her with no problems in the future?

I don't think it was 10...probably 7 years ago.

I live in slippers when at home, and more than once, I forgotten about them and run an errand in them. Feels stupid, and I hate to get clumped into the same category as the welfare stooges that wear pajamas in public, but whatever. Actually, it’s getting time to replace them. New LL Bean lamb wool slippers are delicious.

I decided I wanted something warmer and less sweaty than Crocs and ordered some wool lined slippers. I like them, but hate them. They are actually too warm, and hang down off my feet so it sounds like I'm dragging my feet everywhere around the house. They are nicer outside in light snow than the Crocs full of holes. My Crocs are over ten years old and so comfortable I often forget I'm wearing them as well, including this morning. My new favorite outside shoes are my $20 plastic muck boots I got from Walmart. Wish I had a pair years ago. I even elk hunted in them last year in the snow.

I got my first piece of crack, in the slipper loving world. Oh yes,..it's possible that I could turn into a slipper snob.

I suppose the dog will heal, that's what they tell me.

Forget the GF store, spend the $$ on real orthotics.
