Our recycle to trash ratio is probably 8 to 1. While living in Denver they picked both up same day but on alternate weeks for recycle. For me it sucked because the recycle can was loaded, and I didn't have dick for trash. At least they have a program. Had the same problem in Buie.
It does kinda piss me off that here in the city of wheat ville, they don't do a damn thing for recycling at all....everything just goes in the trash.
