Unplug the cable from the modem and record what the LED states are. That is what you want to tell them.

Well thanks to USMC88-93 it is working much better. Thanks for identifying the problem for me! I will update this if for some reason I continue to have problems but for the time being everything is working properly.
To be fair to Comcast my service issues were due to a cable line. That is assuming that my service continues to work properly and that was actually the culprit. However, I have still been unimpressed with their service and their assistance in trouble shooting my issues. It also sounds like that is being worked on as well for me. Once again I really appreciate all of the help from those in this thread. You guys rock.
