I am listening to this right now and I am going to take a differing take from this (surprise I know). I think the lesson here is that the NRA might have a valid problem with perception and they need to work on that. Does not matter right or wrong, we are talking about perception and perception matters.
America has a valid problem in that the dominant mass media is anti gun. Nothing the NRA can do can change the perception when that perception is shaped by the anti gun media. Everything the NRA has done has been twisted and spun negatively by the anti gun crowd with the help of their friends in mass media.Quote:

The most unfortunate thing in this country is that black Americans are unwilling to bury the hatchet. They perpetuate their circumstance generation after generation because of this.
